About Dr. Engelman

Dr. Engelman is an Assistant Professor of Health Sciences at California State University, East Bay. She holds a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) from UC Berkeley, a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Global Health from Yale University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University.

Her research areas include global health, disability-related health disparities, food security, and emergency preparedness communication. She serves as a member of the Community Health Commission for the City of Berkeley.
