About Dr. Morere
Dr. Morere brings over 30 years of research and assessment services with deaf and hard of hearing populations. She began studying American Sign Language in 1985 and Cued American English in 1993, and her roles span researcher, professor, clinician, and parent of a deaf adult son.
She has been a core faculty member in the Clinical Psychology Program at Gallaudet University since August 1990, where she has trained and supervised both deaf and hearing graduate students.

Clinical Services
Assessment across languages and modalities
Dr. Morere provides Clinical Neuropsychology services to deaf and hard of hearing individuals utilizing American Sign Language, Cued American English, and oral communication. She specializes in the assessment of deaf children with complex special needs, particularly those affecting language development, including primary language disorders, visuospatial processing deficits, and ADHD.
Consultation & Education
For schools, families, and professionals
She provides consultative services to schools, families, and professionals, and offers workshops and presentations at professional meetings addressing neuropsychological assessment, measure adaptation, reading development in deaf children, and bilingual language access through Cued American English and American Sign Language.
